The advanced training on International Humanitarian Law and Current Conflicts will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located in Berlin, Germany.

If you arrive via commercial airline to Berlin, a Marshall Center representative will meet you after you exit the baggage claim area. This person will be holding either a Marshall Center sign or a sign with your name on it. Transportation will be provided from the airport to the Crowne Plaza Hotel. If you cannot find a Marshall Center representative at the airport, please call the Conference Center mobile phone at 0162-296 1819.

Registration for the conference will be held in room Genf at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Please stop by to register and receive your conference information, as soon as possible, upon your arrival.

Late registration will take place immediately prior to the first course meeting on Monday, September 25, 2005 in the morning.

The conference administrative office will be located in room Genf on the ground floor. This office is for conference business only. The administration office cannot be used for personal telephone calls or faxes. If you require any assistance during the conference regarding administrative or support matters, please contact the Marshall Center Conference Team. A Business Center for participants will be located in room Wiesbaden/Munich.

The cost of incidentals (mini-bar, alcoholic beverages, pay-TV, telephone, etc.) will be the responsibility of the participant. Please be prepared to pay your charges and return your room key to the front desk at checkout.

The Marshall Center will arrange your transportation from the Crowne Plaza Hotel to the Berlin airports. Your personal departure time and date will be listed on the “Departure Information Board” outside of the plenary room during the conference. It is important that you are on time for the departure and that you take responsibility for your luggage. Unfortunately, the Marshall Center cannot provide alternate transportation arrangements if you miss your arranged transportation to the airport.
