The advanced training will be held in Brussels, Belgium.
The goal of the advanced training course is to provide participants with training opportunities tailored to meet the needs of practitioners and policymakers. UN, diplomatic staff, government and NGO professionals will find the curriculum specifically designed to address the legal challenges encountered in humanitarian operations in situations of armed conflict. Others with substantial interest and relevant experience, including journalists and members of the military, are also welcome. Through the review of relevant legal frameworks applicable to the protection of victims of armed conflict and timely case studies, participants will engage in a varied course of study, to include in-depth discussions and debate.
