On 23 April 2010, HPCR took part in an event at Columbus Law School at Catholic University in Washington, D.C., titled "Controversy and Developments in the Law of Armed Conflict: Customary vs. Treaty Law; the Law of the Sea Manual; Manual on the Law of Air and Missile Warfare". The event was jointly sponsored by Columbus Law School and the International Society for Military Law and the Law of War. Read more about the event here.

On 11 May 2010, HPCR will present the Manual at a lecture titled "International Law Applicable to Air and Missile Warfare," at The Hague Initiative on Law and Armed ConflictÕs lecture series. The lecture will take place at 19:30 at the T.M.C. Asser Institute, R.J. Schimmelpennincklaan 20-22, The Hague, The Netherlands.

In 18 May 2010, HPCR will present the HPCR Manual and its Commentary at the NATO Defence College annual course on international law in Munich, Germany.
May 26
On 26 May 2010, HPCR will present the HPCR Manual and its Commentary at the International Society for Military Law and the Law of War's VIIIth Seminar for Legal Advisors in Riga, Latvia.

The U.N. Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, Philip Alston, cited the HPCR Manual and its Commentary in the May 28, 2010 addendum to his report on targeted killings. Click here to read the document.
